Cyclopes
Hesiod in Theogony writes about the three Cyclopes, sons of Gaia and Uranus, who fought alongside the gods of Olympus and in exchange for their freedom they offered Zeus his weapons, the lightning and the thunderbolt. The main characteristic of the brothers, apart from their great power, was that they had one single eye in the middle of their foreheads. Drawing inspiration from these ancient Cyclopes we propose the version of the apotropaic Cyclopes who know all the secrets on how to fight the evil eye. Zafiro has the blue eye, well known for its protective power in many parts of the world. Rubine, with her red eye and distinctive mole, as well as Smaragda, with her sharp green glance, follow their sister’s path and are here to protect you, combining Greek mythology and tradition.
